VENUS - THE BRIGHTEST STAR
Do you know that the planet Venus is the third brightest object in the sky after the sun and the moon?

But from December 9 to 17, Venus will be the brightest it can be this year! Catch it in the southwest skies, just after sunset. Remember, the sun sets in the west. To find Venus, just look at the part of the sky where the sun sets. You can't miss this brilliant white planet.

Did you know?

Venus is also known as the Morning Star and the Evening Star? Well, it's because you can only see it just before the sun rises, or just after the sun sets.
